Which developer tool do you need?
Quick utilities for the small jobs that interrupt real work. Because nothing is sent to a server, they're safe to use with API keys, customer data and private code.
Data and text
- JSON Formatter & Validator: format, minify and validate JSON, with errors pinpointed by line and column and a repair option.
- Regex Tester: test JavaScript regular expressions live, with capture groups and replace preview.
- Base64 Encoder / Decoder: encode and decode text and files, including URL-safe Base64 and data URLs.
Web and code
- Code Minifier & Beautifier: shrink HTML, CSS and JavaScript with Terser and CSSO, or make minified code readable.
- Markdown to HTML: write Markdown with a live preview and export clean HTML.
- QR Code Generator: create QR codes for URLs, Wi-Fi and contact cards as PNG or SVG.
Security
- Hash Generator: calculate MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256 and SHA-512 checksums and verify downloads.
- Secure Password Generator: create strong random passwords with the browser's cryptographic random generator.
Why client-side matters
- Pasting a production API response into a server-based formatter can expose tokens and personal data. Client-side tools avoid that.
- Prefer SHA-256 over MD5 and SHA-1 for anything security-related.
- Never store passwords as plain hashes in your apps. Use Argon2, bcrypt or scrypt.
