Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

UltraTools AI ("we", "us") provides free online tools at ultratoolsai.com. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use them. The short version: your files and text are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers.

1. What we do not collect

  • We do not upload, receive, or store the images, documents, audio, or text you process with our tools.
  • We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to use the tools.
  • We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell personal data.

We do use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (see section 3). It measures visits to pages, not the content you process in the tools.

2. How the tools work

Each tool runs in your web browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly, and (where available) WebGPU. When you add a file or paste text, it is read into your browser's memory, processed locally, and discarded when you close or reload the page. Results such as downloads are generated on your device.

AI tools download a model file the first time you use them (typically 5–125 MB). Your browser stores it in its cache so it does not need to be downloaded again. Downloading a model does not send your content anywhere.

3. Third-party services your browser contacts

To deliver code libraries and AI models, your browser requests files from the following services. Like any website request, these requests reveal your IP address and browser information to those providers, according to their own privacy policies. None of them receive the content you process.

  • Hostinger, our hosting provider, which serves this website and keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, time) for security and operations.
  • jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), which delivers open-source libraries such as Transformers.js, ONNX Runtime, Tesseract.js, and others.
  • Hugging Face (huggingface.co), which hosts the AI model files.
  • Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com), a web analytics service from Google that we use to count visits and understand which pages and tools are popular. It receives information such as the pages you view, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), device and browser type, referring website, and a randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie. It does not receive the files or text you process in the tools. See how Google uses data and the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Speech to Text and Text to Speech

  • Speech to Text uses the speech recognition feature built into your browser. In Chrome and Edge, your browser sends microphone audio to its provider's cloud speech service (Google or Microsoft) to produce the text. Safari may process speech on your device. We never receive, record, or store your audio. The tool only listens after you press the microphone button and grant permission.
  • Text to Speech uses the voices installed in your browser or operating system. Voices labeled "Online" or "Natural" may send the text to your browser vendor's cloud service to create audio.

5. Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics cookies (named like _ga and _ga_*) are off by default. They are set, and Google Analytics is loaded, only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Decline”, nothing is loaded from Google and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer; declining later also deletes the analytics cookies. We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage. The tools work the same either way. We do not set any other cookies.

Separately, some tools save small items in your browser's local storage so the site is more convenient: your light/dark theme choice, settings (for example, password generator options), and drafts of text you typed in some tools. This data stays in your browser and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing your site data in your browser settings. Wi-Fi passwords entered in the QR code tool are never saved.

6. Contacting us

If you email contact@ultratoolsai.com or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, and use them only to reply to you. The contact form is the only place on the site where you can send us personal data. When you submit it, our server also sees your IP address, includes it in the email we receive, and keeps a temporary counter tied to a one-way hash of it for up to an hour to limit spam. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and then delete it. The form sends your message by email through our hosting provider (Hostinger); it is not passed to any other service. This website, ultratoolsai.com, is operated under the name “ultratoolsai.com” and is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@ultratoolsai.com.

7. Children

Our tools are general-purpose and not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data through the tools, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have emailed us and want your messages deleted, or you have any privacy question, contact us and we will respond. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR), you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Your privacy rights in the United States

Residents of California and several other US states have rights under state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA. These can include the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of its "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising.

  • What we collect: through Google Analytics, online identifiers (a cookie ID and IP-derived approximate location), device and browser information, and pages visited. If you email us or use the contact form, your name, email address, message and IP address.
  • Why: to measure and improve the site, and to reply to you.
  • Selling and sharing: we do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
  • Exercising your rights: email contact@ultratoolsai.com. We won't discriminate against you for using your privacy rights. To stop analytics collection right away, block cookies for this site or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

10. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Because your content stays on your device, it is not exposed to transfer or storage risks on our servers. We recommend keeping your browser up to date.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works in a way that affects privacy, for example by adding advertising, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
